Farsighted and Correfoc Series
2024-25
Approaching, but somehow never arriving at the beginning. An infinite regress, always another supposition, another condition imposes to my early morning eye; a hint of more, and frequently at the same time what is missing, another nucleus to explore, another dimension to articulate, reveal, illuminate--if I can stay out of the way and let it happen.
Some of these works are from the Farsighted series, others were inspired by the Correfoc, a Fire Run festival in Catalunya, Spain. Click here for a relevant artist statement.
